  • Read chapter 6 together.
  • Begin on the study questions or continue with your research paper preparations.

Homework

  • Bibliographies and 7 note cards due on the 30th! (You should also turn in your revised thesis.)
  • Notes on note cards: *5 note cards from various sources other than your text. At least 1 from each source.* 2 cards from your text. Copies of the pages from which these note cards come along with the title page and table of contents for each source. Each note card should be correctly formatted and typed. On the back of each note card you should write one complete sentence explaining how the information supports your thesis. Your bibliography should include a color coded key to identify the type of sources used. (Critical, biographical, social / historical, textual) You must use at least one of each of those types of sources.
  • Complete the study questions for chapters 5 and 6 of the novel in the following way: 1. Each answer must use a highlighted vocabulary word from chapters 5-6, 2. Each answer must contain an introductory adverbial phrase.
