Class work

·         Talk about how we spent our summers and meet the new folks. Pine over those who have left. News?

·         Discuss the syllabus and what we will be studying this year.

·         Look at a PowerPoint presentation over a few changes in procedure / focus.

·         Go to the library to get our textbooks.

·         Pick up locker keys in the GAO office.

·         Turn in your summer reading novels and decide on our vocabulary words. (Let’s not have any duplicate words.)

Homework

·         Sunday night is the last chance to finish your grammar work. I will download the results on Monday, and nothing will be accepted thereafter.

·         Create a vocabulary PowerPoint presentation using 10 of your summer words. Due Monday the 21^st (Bring a digital copy to class or send it by the time you leave for school Monday.)
