· We will go to the computer lab for the last 45 minutes of the class. You can work on your summer reading projects or Epic Poems. We will begin reading / performing the poems on Thursday. Remember: bring two of the 3 extras for 5 points extra credit.

· We will have a test (essay) tomorrow over Beowulf. (Know about: the heroic ideal, the epic, the structure of Beowulf, the Anglo-Saxons, the plot / meanings of Beowulf and Gilgamesh)
